ThePower Rangersuniverse is filled with hype moments and episodes that we will never forget. From character introductions like “Green With Evil” to crossovers that delivered just enough fanservice like “Thunder Storm,“every era ofPower Rangershas at least one memorable episode.
Picking the most significantepisodes ofPower Rangersis not easy, especially if you watched all seasons and learned how to appreciate every part of the franchise. That said, we can all agree that certain moments from the show were more special than others.

10To The Tenth Power
Power Rangers Lost Galaxy
In SpaceandLost Galaxyare arguably thebestPower Rangersseasonsof the 1990s, which is why it is no surprise that their crossover episode, “To The Tenth Power,” is one of the show’s coolest episodes. AlthoughLost Galaxywas the beginning of a new era for the franchise, it still had connections to the Zordon Era.
Mike
Magna Defender
From the Astro Megaship’s return to Karone later becoming the new Pink Ranger,Lost GalaxyandIn Spacecan be considered sister-seasons. Andtheir crossover also happened to include some of the greatestPower Rangersvillains ever, the Psycho Rangers. The result was an episode that was pure hype from start to finish.
9Always A Chance
Power Rangers in Space
Power Rangersin Spacewas technically part of the Zordon Era, but the show had already become so different by that point that it was easy to forget that T.J., Cassie, Ashley, and Carlos had once interacted with the originalZeo/TurboRangers. Yetin “Always a Chance,” we got to see Carlos teaming up with his predecessor, Adam.
When Adam passed the torch to Carlos inTurbo, they were Green Rangers. In “Always a Chance,” they teamed up as Black Rangers, which was a full-circle moment for both characters.Adam risking his life to morph using a damaged Power Coin was unbelievably cooland one of the bravest things a Power Ranger ever did.

8A Golden Homecoming
Power Rangers Zeo
The mystery of theZeo Gold Ranger’s identityset the narrative for several episodes ofPower RangersTurbo, culminating in the reveal thatTrey of Triforia needed to pass the mantle to somebody else.We were then left wondering who the Rangers were going to pick to receive such power.
Trey of Triforia/Jason
Zeo Gold Ranger
While I would have liked to see Billy become the Gold Ranger, as many had theorized, it was still incredibly exciting to get Jason back.Tommy and Jason showing up in the middle of the desert is simply one of the coolest scenes I’ve ever seen, and the fact that their roles were now reversed made “A Golden Homecoming” even more special.
7Rangers Gone Psycho
Villains can have their hype moments too, andI would be lying if I said that theIn SpaceRangers' defeat at the hands of the Psycho Rangers wasn’t exciting.MostPower Rangersvillainswere monsters of the week that could be easily defeated, but not the Psycho Rangers.
In “Rangers Gone Psycho,” Astronema sends out a team of malign creatures that resemble the Power Rangers to go after our heroes. The Psycho Rangers were the personification of evil, and their only goal was to make the Power Rangers suffer. I can’t think of a lot of villain introductions that were this impactful.

6Green With Evil: Part V
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers
Power Rangerswas a hit from the start, butthe arrival of the Green Ranger in “Green With Evil” took the show to the next level.Jason David Frank’s character went from the star of the week to the face of the franchise in the blink of an eye, and it all started here.
Tommy Oliver appeared in over 250 episodes ofPower Rangers.
It’s hard to pick a specific moment from the “Green With Evil” arc, but I think nothing beats the scene in which Tommy first morphs as a good guy with the rest of the team.Power Rangerswas obviously a formulaic show, so the fact that we now had a former villain joining the heroes was so much fun.
5White Light, Part II
The Green Ranger joining the team was great and changed the trajectory of the show, but I dare to say thatTommy’s return in “While Light” was even more special.Tommy had been away for a couple of episodes, yet there was no better choice for the White Ranger role than our former Green Ranger.
Although most people were probably not surprised thatTommy was the White Ranger, the scene in which he removes his helmet and reveals his face to Kimberly and the rest of the team is one of my favorite moments in the series. The White Ranger is an underrated part of Tommy’s history, but"White Light” is one of the best arcs of the original series.

4Countdown to Destruction Part II
Power Rangersknows how to make great finales, but “Countdown to Destruction” is easily the best one. For the first time in the history of the show, there was a sense of hopelessness and chaos that made it seem like the Power Rangers were going to fail.
Granted, Divatox destroyed the Command Center at the end ofTurbo, but the stakes were much higher in “Countdown to Destruction.” Not only was Andros trying to save Zordon, but he was also trying to rescue Karone, all while the Alliance of Evil invaded multiple planets.

Zhane
Silver Ranger
The scene in which theIn SpaceRangers revealed themselves to Angel Grove was pure hype, and it brought the show full circle as Bulk and Skull finally learned the identities of the Power Rangers. That’s not to mention the heartbreaking scene where Andros has to kill Zordon to save the universe.
3Back in Black
Power Rangers Dino Thunder
Tommy has a lot of hype moments inPower Rangers, and many of them come fromDino Thunder. Now older and wiser, Dr. Oliver preferred to help the newPower Rangersfrom the sidelines and was more than happy to be their Zordon. But things escalated quickly, andTommy had to become a Power Ranger again.
Elsa:Aren’t you a little old for this, Tommy?

Tommy:I may be old, but I can still pull it off.
“Back in Black” saw Tommy Oliver morph with a new set of powers for the first time since 1997’sTurbo, which would have already been cool enough to deserve a spot on this list. But the way Tommy morphed, saying that he was old but still got it, was probably one of the coolest things the character ever did.
2Thunder Storm
Dino Thunderwas a spectacular season full of great moments, one of which was the team-up episode withNinja Storm. Arguably the best crossover of the Disney Era (not countingWild Force), “Thunder Storm” followed the classic superhero formula of having the good guys fight each other before they team up against the real enemy.
Ninja StormandDino Thunderhad a lot of similarities, and while both sort of existed in their own corner of thePower Rangersuniverse, seeing them come together was amazing. The final morph, where all ten Rangers participate, is a fan-favorite scene and sums up how great the Disney Era was.
1Forever Red
Power Rangers Wild Force
I still remember the first time I watched “Forever Red,“yet every time I revisit it, is as if I’m back in the early 2000s. “Forever Red” simply delivered everything that fans wanted to see happen. In just 20 minutes,Wild Forcegave us thePower Rangerscrossover event of all time.
“Forever Red” was a love letter to the show, and it’s fair to say it is the most iconicPower Rangersepisode.
What made “Forever Red” so special wasn’t just the fact that a bunch of beloved characters were sharing the screen for the first time, but also how they were all written as they used to be in their original seasons. “Forever Red” was a love letter to the show, and it’s fair to say it is the most iconicPower Rangersepisode.
