Past Lives is a film that follows Nora and Hae Sung, childhood friends who reunite in New York after many years. As they spend a week together, they explore themes of destiny, love, and the pivotal choices that shape their lives. Released on June 29, 2025.

The film listed here to be the least well-known isPast Livesbut it should be on more people’s radars. The touching romantic drama is from writer/director Celine Song, who followed it up withMaterialiststhis year, which was met with widespread acclaim.
