An iconicDC Comicsseries has become a bestseller and even its biggest fans will be surprised why. Over the years, the publisher has had several classic stories reach the top of the charts. But over a decade after one series' release, it’s climbed back to the top for a reason that’s shocked one of its creators.
OnX, Tom Taylor (Nightwing,Detective Comics) took to the social media platform to discuss one of hisearliest works for DC Comics, the tie-in comic series,Injustice. Taylor revealed that on the retail website Amazon,Injustice: Gods Among Us: Year One - The Complete Collectionis currently a best-selling title.

There is one small issue, as Taylor pointed out in his post. Namely, thatInjustice: Gods Among Us: Year One - The Complete Collectionis classified as a bestseller in the Nonfiction Graphic Novels category. Taylor took that in stride, jokingly pointing out that‘almost’ none of the content inInjusticeis based on a true story.

Tom Taylor Jokes AboutInjustice’sOdd Categorization
Injustice: Gods Among Uswas a 2013 fighting game centering around Superman creating a totalitarian regime and other DC heroes' attempts to stop him. The video game received a comic book prequel that showedthe creation of Superman’s regimeand the schism that tore apart the DC Universe. The comic was well-received by fans and even garnered a few awards.
Of course, blunders like this aren’t exactly uncommon. Books can be incorrectly labeled all the time, and it appears that Amazon has already corrected the mistake. Still it’s funny to see such a glaring mistake, especially considering how wildInjusticeactually gets. Granted, it’s a sensitive time right now,but it’s nowhere near as bad as inInjustice.

InjusticeMislabeling Makes for an Interesting Reflection
Things Could Always be Worse
That’s not to downplay the state of the world right now. There’s war, political upheaval, and manipulation across the globe, the kinds of elements that featured heavily inInjustice. The real world isn’t perfect by any means, and one can see a lot of parallels with Taylor’s work. But it is 100% not nonfiction.
Thankfully, the real world doesn’t have heroes and villains who can escalate and make tense global situations worse. At the end of the day, Injustice’s mislabeling was just that and Tom Taylor got a small laugh out of his series being so wrongfully categorized. As bad as the world can be sometimes, it’s nothing compared toDC Comics’Injustice.
