What Alien: Earth Episode 4’s Trailer Means For The Show

Alien: Earthepisode 3 endedwith Wendy seemingly reacting to the pain of the Facehugger Kirsh was experimenting on, to the point where it shut her down just minutes after she woke up. So far, it’s unclear why she shares a connection to the Xenomorphs while the other hybrids don’t, and what it’ll mean for Prodigy’s research going forward.

In the meantime,Slightly seems to be under Morrow’s thumbthanks to the chip the Weyland-Yutani cyborg planted in his head. It’s unclear how the hybrid is going to be able to deliver an egg when they’re under constant surveillance from Kirsh. However, the Xenomorph’s confirmed escape means it could give him an opportunity to do so.

As for othercharacters inAlien: Earth, it’s unclear what they’ll be up to as the episode progresses. The other Lost Boys seem to be going through their own arcs, such as Nibs wrestling with no longer being human. Since there’s still five episodes of the show left, the layers of their inhuman humanity have only begun to be explored.

Our Take On Alien: Earth Episode 4’s Trailer

AlthoughWendy’s connection to the Xenomorphs is unclear, it seems like it’ll be exploring new lore between synthetics and the alien creatures. Thematically, it ties into the show’s ideas about what it means to be human, potentially wrapping the dangerous extraterrestrials more closely into its approach. How Boy Kavalier and his researchers approach this, though, remains unclear for now.

But, with Wendy experiencing these problems coupled with new threats from Weyland-Yutani, it’s clear theMaginot’s crash-landing is just the start of the dangers inAlien: Earth. While human conflict seems to be a core element of episode 4, it won’t be long until the aliens at Neverland become the primary problem once again.
