Summary

It’s official. Amazon Prime Day is set to return next month and deliver all sorts of deals and discounts that are perfect for summer. As expected, Prime Day is returning on July 8th, only this time around they should probably just call it Prime Week. That’s because Amazon is doing things a bit differently this year.

Amazon Prime Day is no longer just a day or two here in 2025. This go around, Amazon will be hosting its day full of deals for four days, running from July 8th to the 11th.

To be more specific, the now-96-hour sales event will start at 12:01 AM PT on July 8th and run through July 11th. If previous years are any indication, we’ll see deals leading up to the event, then on the main days, see major discounts on AirPods, smart home products, Amazon devices, Amazon-owned brands like Ring or Blink, robo-vacs, and more. Naturally, thousands and thousands of items will go on sale.

Amazon says there will be a wide variety of deals across 35+ categories. Meaning look out for big savings on electronics, home goods, kitchen items, beauty products, clothing, and more. As usual, Amazon will have a large banner on the main page that shows when deals happen, and will likely highlight key daily deals.

Amazon Prime Day Deal Drops

While early deals start today with a slew of items for around $3 or $5, like everyday household essentials, the main deals won’t kick off until July 8th. Amazon said it’ll also offer a bunch of back-to-school and college items for nearly 50% off.

And finally, Amazon says that users can look out for a slew of back-to-school sales the entire event, all-time lows on Amazon devices, savings from thousands of small business sellers, Fuel savings with BP, Amoco, andampm, and even grocery deals.

Basically, Amazon Prime Day is four days long this year, and will be the best time to stock up on anything and everything. As a reminder, we always suggest using these sales events toupgrade your smart home, upgrade your home Wi-Fi, and it’s always a good time to buy items andbuild a Plex Media server.
