After several rumors and leaks, the release date forBattlefield 6has been confirmed, along with two open beta periods scheduled to take place before the game’s launch. Earlier this week, it was thought that publisher Electronic Arts itselfleaked the release date, and now, it appears the leak was correct.
During today’s Mutltiplayer Gameplay Reveal, the officialBattlefieldchannel on YouTube confirmedBattlefield 6will be released on July 30, 2025.Additionally, the two open beta periods are taking place much sooner than many may have expected.

Battlefield 6’s official title and story setting were unveiled in arecent reveal trailer, andearly impressions were mostly positive. Battlefield 6’s release date of October 10 puts it in asomewhat challenging position. The two open betas are coming up in August. Thefirst of which will take place from August 9 to August 10, and thesecond one will take place from August 14 to August 17. An early access period for the betas will also take place from August 7 to August 8; players can get access to that period by watching partnered content creators after today’s livestream onBattlefield’s official YouTube channel.
With recentBattlefieldtitles beingsurrounded by controversy, it seems like a solid move from EA to have two different open beta tests for anyone to try, as well as provide hardcore fans with the opportunity to watch content creators and play it even earlier.

An August beta might give enough time for adjustments before release, if the beta has any significant issues. So, it seems like fans might get excited aboutBattlefield 6and its future, as long as other issues don’t pop up.
