Anthony was the chef for most ofBelow Deckseason 11, though he ended up leaving, with Nick Tatlock replacing him.Anthony didn’t leave on great terms, so it came as a surprise when Fraser Olender recommended him to replace Lawrence in the most recent episode ofBelow Deckseason 12.Lawrence gave his notice at the start of the episode after he couldn’t handle the pressure, even before the guests ever showed up.

Chef Anthony Iracane is worried that his working relationship with Lawrence Snowden won’t end well on Below Deck.

In a preview clip from the next episode ofBelow Deck, courtesy ofBravo, Chef Lawrence introduces his replacement, Chef Anthony, to the galley and provisions. While it seems like they’re working well together, Anthony worries if that’ll last. In a confessional,he says having two different personalities working together in the galley “can be very challenging"and admits “it’s going to be a big fight at the end.”

When the clip begins, Anthony believes that Fraser had a hand in his exit, and he wants to find a moment to talk privately about that. However, there’s no time for that now because Lawrence needs to show Anthony around the galley. Anthony appreciated how organized everything is. In a confessional, he explains, “My whole life, I’ve never been with anyone in the galley or in the kitchen.” That’s when he admits the concept of working with someone else sounds challenging. He appears to predict thatboth chefs will want to “be the best,” so a fight will inevitably ensue.

Later on, Fraser is surprised to learn that the next group of charter guests will be on board for five days. At one point during the preference sheet meeting, he reveals that one of the guests has a shellfish allergy. “Very important. Everyone needs to know this,” he tells the crew. At the end of the preview clip, taking it back to a possible chef rift,Anthony admits that he’s “the tornado,” while Lawrence claims he’s the “anti-tornado.”

What Chefs Anthony & Lawrence Possibly Fighting Means For Below Deck

An Anthony & Lawrence Feud Is Inevitable

This preview clip appears to be foreshadowing a clash between Anthony and Lawrence. While they’re getting along right now,the comments that Anthony made in his confessional are a big red flag. He’s not used to working by himself, so he’s essentially warning viewers that this might not end well.

Since this upcoming charter is the one in which Anthony and Lawrence will have to work together, that alone is enough to create some drama. What makes the situation even worse is thatthe guests will be on board for five days, which means the two chefs will have to put up with each other for almost a week. There’s no way they don’t start butting heads at some point.

DuringBelow Deck Down Underseason 3, which recently ended, Tzarina Mace-Ralph had a sous chef, which is abnormal for theBelow Deckfranchise. Having a sous chef should have made the experience better. However,Tzarina’s stress levels shot up with the extra personality in the galley.

Our Take On Chef Anthony & Lawrence Working Together

The Long Below Deck Charter Doesn’t Seem Like A Coincidence

Captain Kerry Titheradge wanted there to be some overlap before Lawrence left so that there could be a smooth transition once Anthony fully took over. However, all signs are pointing to a clash of personalities and style. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that the next charter just so happens to be five days at the same time that Anthony and Lawrence will be working together. This will probably be covered across multiple episodes, and producers will want to milk the dramafor all it’s worth.
