InEA Sports FC 24’sPro Clubs game mode, players must ensure that they have a good build for their pro player and with there being the addition of PlayStyles and PlayStyle+, creating the best possible build for each position has become more of a challenge than previous years.
Sometimes, the best build for a certain position isn’t as straightforward as one might think inFC 24. Since players can play anywhere with no effect on their rating, fans can create a build that says one position but thrives in a different position.
1Classic Attacking Midfielder
Build Specifications:
This build is everything that a pure attacking midfield needs, with its playstyle being similar to Bruno Fernandes, Martin Odegaard, or James Maddison. Players will notice this build has less pace than others, with only around 80-85 pace. However, the high agility and dribbling stats make this build feel quicker than expected.
Players can dribble extremely well with this build and be able to pick out the more difficult passes with ease. The Rapid and Quick Step PlayStyles make up for the lack of pace, combined with Long Ball Pass+ and First Touch+ and alongside the Finesse Shot PlayStyle that makes this builda dangerous weapon offensively.
2Box To Box Midfielder
A good box-to-box midfielder needs a balanced crop of passing, dribbling, and defending stats, while also having enough pace to get up and down the pitch quickly and effectively. The best way to get balanced stats is to select LM, RM, or either wing-back positions if players want the most pace.
Players can choose to usea pure CM position on this build, however, it will have less pace in exchange for better passing and dribbling. Players should look to max out the pace skill tree and put as many remaining skill points into passing and dribbling as possible. Players can move a few skill points to defending or shooting if they wish, but the base stats for these two areas will already be usable, so that isn’t majorly important for this build to thrive.
3Dominating Center Back
MostFC24Pro Clubs players choose the attacking positions for their teams, however, many also enjoy playing as defenders. Having a fast defensive build is usually a good idea, as most attackers will have as much pace as possible, so defenders should look to max out their pace skill tree before anything else.
At 6'4", 171lbs, and a maxed-out pace skill tree, players will have 88 pace, while also being able to spend a hefty amount of skill points on defending and strength. The base passing stats of a CB position are solid too, making for a fast and strong CB who can also play a pass with confidence from the back. Players could switch their weight to 200lbs, losing pace but gaining more strength, although that barely affects the quality of this build.
4Well-Rounded Striker
A build that is similar to Gabriel Jesus or Lautauro Martinez, this ST build focuses on pace and shooting, with a good amount of dribbling to allow the player to be able to take on a defender rather than only making off-the-ball runs and shooting. At 5'8", this build most likely will not be winning many headers,however with pace in the 90sand shooting in the upper 80s, this build more than makes up for the lack of height.
Players will get a 5-star weak foot with this build, which is a vital aspect of any top striker in Pro Clubs. The Finesse Shot+ PlayStyle+ is excellent when hitting shots from long or close range, significantly boosting the chances of getting a goal. This combined with the Trivela PlayStyle and the Power Shot PlayStyle makes this build lethal from any side or part of the opposition’s final third.
5Small Speedster Winger
Once again, small andlight wingers are effective inFC 24Pro Clubs, with their pace and agility being extremely difficult to defend against. This build is no doubt the most popular build, with 5-star skills, upper 90s for pace, and almost 99-rated agility making it incredibly fast, with or without the ball.
Players should look to not put too many skill points towards finishing and focus on purely pace and dribbling, with any remaining skill points being on crossing specifically. This is because when paired with a tall striker in the middle, this build will be an assist machine, as players can put some whip on crosses this year.
6Aerial Threat
This build was more dominant inFIFA 23, however, it remains highly effective. The main thing to remember with this build is to ignore the overall rating, as it will be lower than other striker builds. This build plays sensationally when done correctly, with wingers who are willing to spend most of their time on the wing crossing the ball.
Players can rack up goals with this build, as when getting a clean connection on a crossed ball, players will score more chances than they will miss. Additionally, this build has high strength stats, allowing players to bully the defenders and win heading duels that seem unwinnable. This build does only have around 73 pace, so keep that in mind. Players need to ensure that they put as many skill points as possible into jumping along with heading accuracy and strengthto make this build as effective as possible.
7Inside Attacker
This is quite a flexible build. It can be used on the wings, at striker, or CAM due to its high pace, dribbling, and shooting stats, alongside solid passing stats that are boosted by the Tiki Taka and Long Ball Pass PlayStyles that come in handy when attempting to slot a through pass to the striker. The PlayStyle+ of Finesse Shot+ is very strong inFC 24and allows players to have a high chance of scoring when finessing their shots from any range.
The key part of this build is its high agility stat despite being 6'2". This means players havea build that has a nice balanceof speed and quickness, along with the ability to win headers occasionally. As for similarities to real-life players, this build is closest to that of Son Heung Min, a young Cristiano Ronaldo or Gareth Bale.
