The officialBeyond ParadiseInstagramaccount celebrated the news of the show’s upcoming fourth season with a post revealing thatfilming has begun on the UK’s picturesque coast in Devon and Cornwall.The popular seaside counties act as the backdrop forBeyond Paradise’s fictional beach-lined paradise, Shipton Abbott.
The new season promises to include plenty of"puzzling twists and turns"as DI Humphrey Goodman (Kris Marshall) and the team"gear up for another series full of mystery, humor, and heart on the sunny shores of Devon and Cornwall."
What This Means For Beyond Paradise Season 4
The Show Will Likely Stick To Its Normal Release Schedule
Since production has already commenced on the new season ofBeyond Paradise,there’s a good chance the BBC and BritBox will stick to theDeath in Paradisespinoff’s regular release schedule.
This might include a holiday-themed special in December (though this has yet to be confirmed), with the new season releasing in the first half of 2026 following the finale ofDeath in Paradiseseason 15. Episodes usually drop on BritBox in North America after they premiere in the UK on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
Beyond Paradisehas released Christmas specials in December 2023 and 2024.
All main cast members are expected to return, including Kris Marshall, Sally Bretton as Martha Lloyd, Zahra Ahmadi as DS Esther Williams, Dylan Llewellyn as PC Kelby Hartford, Barbara Flynn as Anne Lloyd, Felicity Montagu as Margo Martins, and Melina Sinadinou as Esther’s daughter, Zoe. Given the romantic cliffhanger in the season 3 finale, we’d also expect recurring star Jamie Bamber to return as Archie Hughes.

The Show Has Come Into Its Own Across Four Seasons
Since it was the firstDeath in Paradisespinoff,Beyond Paradisehad a lot to live up to.Season 3 proved the show has truly come into its own. Featuring a few darker cases, including a Jacuzzi murder and a stalking conspiracy, as well as genuine emotional growth for its leading characters,Beyond Paradisehas embraced its own identity.
Whatever the future holds for the Paraverse and Shipton Abbott’s finest, Beyond Paradise is carving out its own unique legacy.
TheBeyond Paradiseseason 3 finale featured a difficult farewell for Humphrey and Martha, as they were forced to say goodbye to another foster child, Rosie (Bella Rei Blue Stevenson). Elsewhere, Esther closed herself off from a romantic future with Martha’s ex, Archie. Hopefully, though, that story will continue in season 4, as it was great to watch Esther come out of her closed-off shell.
Beyond Paradiseseason 4 can continue to develop these characters and more; I’d love to see Kelby receive a slightly bigger storyline, too. Whatever the future holds for the Paraverse and Shipton Abbott’s finest,Beyond Paradiseis carving out its own unique legacy.
