Love Island USAseason 7 is over, and the Islanders have left the villa to navigate life in the real world after having just appeared on the biggest reality show of the summer.
Now that all the Islanders are free to pursue brand deals and interview opportunities, the question of who would be the first to appear onCall Her Daddy, arguably one of the biggest podcasts in the world geared towards millennial and Gen Z women, has been answered.

On Monday, July 14, the officialCall Her DaddyInstagram accountteased that a recently released Islander would be appearing on the podcastthis week. While they didn’t drop the name of the Islander, in the comments section, two names were brought up the most:this season’s winner Amaya Espinalandrunner-up, Huda Mustafa.
Now, the officialCall Her DaddyInstagram account has revealed that the first guest fromLove Island USAseason 7will be none other than “Amaya Papaya,” as she’s lovingly known, butthe first interview should have been given to Huda.
Love Island USA’s Amaya Will Be Appearing on Call Her Daddy
Amaya Was Announced As First Guest From Season 7
Call Her Daddy’s Instagram page recently revealed thatAmaya will be the first Islander to appear on the podcast, which drops new episodes on Wednesdays. The promo, which doesn’t actually reveal Amaya’s face, shows a woman whose build matches Amaya’s, walking in a bikini through theCHDstudios. There is no tag, but it’s clear that it’s Amaya from her walk.
Amaya as the first guest to appear on CHD makes perfect sense:Amaya was the winner ofLove Island USAseason 7, andaudiences fell in love with her off-kilter, genuine personality and funny, meme-worthy comments.
Amaya’s journey onLove Island USAmade her the right winner for the season, as she was constantly challenged to be herself, despite some of her male suitors who wished she’d be just a little less.
Amaya never compromised who she was, and when she met Bryan Arenales, it was a match made in Fiji, as the two became inseparable andBryan seemed to like Amaya for who she was. Bryan never asked Amaya to dim her light, and it was a lesson for people everywhere that the right partner will love you for you.
It’s favorable that Amaya won the season, as she truly is a “Dominican Cinderella,” like she said herself. Still, Amaya’s polarizing castmate, Huda, should have been given the first slot becauseHuda’s journey onLove Island USAwould be right in line with the topics that CHD regularly discusses, like toxic relationships, gaslighting, love-bombing, and so much more.
Alex Cooper Teased That First Guest May Have Been Huda
Alex’s Social Media Posts Mimicked Famous Huda Sunglasses Meme
Before Amaya was announced,Alex’s social media postadded fuel to the fire that Huda would be the first guest. Alex shared a photo of herself sitting in a room alone, wearing sunglasses, with the caption, “me patiently waiting to post the CHD guest this week.”
Love Island USAfans know that among Huda’s many viral moments on the show was a meme of Huda sitting by herself on a pool chair, wearing sunglasses and sulking, as shown in this Instagram post from podcasterGibson John.
Alex turned off the comments on this post, perhaps because Huda’s many fans (and haters) were blowing up the comments section. Huda is an extremely polarizing presence, butlove her or hate her, it’s hard to argue with the fact that she was the most talked-about Islander, and without her, the season would have been dull.
Huda Was Most Talked About Islander
It Shoulda Been Huda
Whether she was crashing out over pancakes or going too far in a heart rate challenge,Huda never failed to keep all eyes on her. She entered the villa as a sassy, single “mamacita” and fell in deep with Jeremiah Brown, the first boy she coupled up with on the show.
Huda and Jeremiah moved fast, andlike all flames that burn too bright, theirs was extinguishedin a flurry of name-calling, tense arguments, and eventually, the heart-stopping choice that Jeremiah made to couple up with Iris Kendall, whom America had coupled him up with previously.
Jeremiah could have chosen to go back to Huda, but when he chose Iris, he unleashed “Hurricane Huda,” as she came to be known.
Huda spent the rest of the seasontrying to redeem herself for her perceived bad behavior over Jeremiah. She was given a vindication arc, and achance to prove that she wasn’t the erratic, emotional woman we’d seen crash outover Jeremiah.
Did she accomplish that? Depends who you ask.
Even though it didn’t work out with her and her second partner, Chris Seeley, Huda remains one of the most charismatic Islanders who’s ever looked for love onLove Island USA, andshe may get her chance in the CHD hot seat soon enough.
Love Island USAseasons 1 through 6 are available to stream on Peacock.
