Over the weekend gamers potentially gotan early look at this year’sBattlefieldtitlethanks to a development leak and this week the other major AAA first-person shooter is in the rumor spotlight. Nothing has been confirmed yet, but if a series of leaks are to be believed, this year’sCall of Dutywill see a return to theBlack Opsstoryline.
The leak comes from a tipster who claims to have access to the GameStop database, which recently added a long list ofCall of Duty: Back Ops 4merchandise. The listings include lanyards, t-shirts, and a ton of other merch associated with the currently unannounced title.

Although GameStop listings have frequently been proved incorrect in the past, this isn’t the first time rumors ofBlack Ops 4have cropped up. Only a few months backa voice actor seemingly confirmed that the title was in the works. As we get closer and closer to the summer and E3 2018, gamers can expect to find out the truth about what the coming year has in store for theCoDfranchise.
