Call of Duty: Warzonehas no shortage of bugs, with some of its biggest issues sticking around despite several attempts being made to fix them. Hopefully, the latestCall of Duty: Warzoneglitch is fixed soon, though, as the recently discovered wall hacks bug is utterly game-breaking and completely unfair.
Call of Duty: Warzonedeveloper Raven Software has solved some recent problems by simply removing problematic content from the game. The Armored Royale game mode, for example, was taken away completely after an invisibility glitch became prevalent. A different invisibility exploit sawCall of Duty: Warzone’s attack helicopter removedtwice, and it is unclear if it will ever return for a third time. This strategy will not work for the new wall hacks bug, though, as Raven cannot completely remove the Gulag system and contracts.

Call of Duty: Warzonefandonats91 showed off the bug in action, and it is truly absurd. For the entirety of the one-minute clip, the Redditor’s opponent is highlighted in a bright red color. This does not change when the player goes behind cover, as their outline can be seen regardless. Not only does donats91 have the high ground advantage, but they can see everything their opponent is doing. Every time the enemy player tries to peak or switch cover, they are lit up with bullets, ensuring that they have no chance in the fight.
While the highlighted player eventually makes a run for it, donats91 guns them down with an LMG almost immediately. While the Redditor did benefit from the bug, his disappointment can be heard throughout the clip. Clearly feeling bad for the enemy player, donats91 says how unfair the bug is and how it likely looks like he is using wall hacks, a popularCall of Duty: Warzonecheat. This may have led to an unfair report from the victim as well, though it would be hard to blame them given how the moment looks.
Fortunately, the glitch is both extremely hard to pull off and only works on one enemy. This ensures that exploiters will struggle to replicate it and benefit from it far less than something likeCall of Duty: Warzone’s stim glitch, which is one bit of positive news. In the comments, donats91 specifies that the bug is caused by completing a Most Wanted contract while a teammate is beginning to move in the Gulag. Requiring luck and perfect timing, this will surely remain a rare occurrence.
Regardless of how rare the problem is, though, it is extremely unfair on the off chance that it does happen to someone else. As such, it needs to be fixed soon, asCall of Duty: Warzonefans already have plenty to worry about withthe FFAR and AUG meta.
Call of Duty: Warzoneis available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
