How Did Booster Gold Become the Most Important & Powerful Person in the DC Universe?

As a quick recap,Booster Gold was last seen inDC’s ALL IN Special, where he voluntarily traveled from Earth-Prime to the Darkseid-created world known as the Absolute Universe.Readers saw Booster successfully reach this new world, but in the process, he lost contact with the Justice League and encountered a corrupted version of the Legion of Super-Heroes.
Since then, fans have been left in suspense regarding Booster’s fate. However,Superman#27 briefly returns to his story in its epilogue, where it is revealed thatBooster is still being held captive by Darkseid’s evil Legion. During this short scene, readers also learn that Michael has now been elevated to the status of“the most important person in time and space.”
In a conversation between members of the corrupted Legion, Saturn Girl corrects her teammates who continue to refer to Booster as a joke. She argues that he is actually the most important person in the DC Universe. After passing through the Omega Rift on his journey between Earth-Prime and the Absolute Universe,Booster became imbued with pure Omega energy, whichhas made him"the key to everything."
Since Omega energy is the very force responsible for creating the Absolute Universe and is one of the most dangerous and unpredictable powers in existence, Saturn Girl’s statement feels incredibly justified.Booster has now been elevated to an unprecedented power level, placing him in a dominant position within the DC hero hierarchy.
Superman & Booster Gold vs. Darkseid’s Legion Is DC’s Next Epic Showdown

Given that Booster Gold is still being heldcaptive by the Legion of Super-Heroes, it is likely that, despite the immense power of the Omega energy within him,he has not yet mastered or fully understood how to use it.However, this does not diminish his potential. With this power and his canonically recognized importance, Booster Gold may very well outrank Superman.
As a result, the teased team-up between the Man of Steel and Booster inSuperman#27 will present readers with an exceptionally unique dynamic.
