Destiny 2has added two new game modes with the advents of the Season of the Drifter and the Joker’s Wild content update:Gambit Primeand Reckoning. Concerning the latter, it is a top-tier activity focusing on speed and how quickly players can defeat enemies, build the bridge, and defeat the Knights (so far). The second tier of this activity, which recommends a power level of 670, is now available, so here’s how to beat it.
The second tier is much like the first at the beginning, with players required to defeat enemies to reach 100% of the dominance meter. Take too long between kills, however, and that meter will begin to decrease. Once this is done, a door opens to a bridge whereDestiny 2players will need to stand in a total of 6 circles, getting each to 100% as well, to build their way to the boss room.
In the boss room,Destiny 2players will need to kill two ascendant knights and the Hermit. Killing the Hermit will reclaim the players' light and deal bonus damage to the two knights. The Hermit will be found in one of the four corners of the room, so locate him quickly. He’ll have a blue icon over his head, making him easier to find. Doing all of this will clear the second tier of the new Reckoning activity.
It’s worth mentioning that the third tier will release on March 15, givingDestiny 2players just a few days to get better at tiers 1 and 2. Reckoning is part of the process required in order to upgrade the newGambit Prime Armor Sets, so getting good at this activity is likely vital to success during the Season of the Drifter.
Beyond this, the new Joker’s Wild content update has also added plenty of new features such as new pinnacle weapons,new exotics, and more. Returning and veteran guardians will find a little bit of everything to explore in this latest season ofDestiny 2.
