Resurrection’s First Kill Is By Harrison, Not Dexter

Harrison Is Following In His Father’s Vigilante Killer Footsteps

While it would make sense that the first new kill we get to see afterNew BloodinResurrectionwould be by Dexter himself, it’s actually shockingly done by Harrison. Prior toNew Blood’sfinale,Harrison was not a killer and technically wasn’t one at the start ofResurrectionbecause his father defied the odds and survived.

InDexter: Resurrectionepisode 1, Harrison intervenes when a guest named Ryan Fosterturns out to be a sexual predator. Had he not gotten in the middle of the altercation, the hotel guest Shauna would have been a victim of sexual assault.

Harrison had only just met Shauna that day and had no personal relationship with her. He killed Ryan after getting into a fight with him in his hotel room, meaning thatit wasn’t premeditated like most of Dexter’s kills are. Still, it was a crime of passion considering the circumstances, one that haunts Harrison much more than Dexter’s kills ever did.

Will Dexter’s First Kill In Resurrection Be The Dark Passenger?

The Imposter Fits Harry’s Code To A Tee

Meanwhile,Dexter can’t help but become fascinated by a serial killer who kills rideshare driversjust days after he arrives in New York City. The killer, whom the media refers to as “The Dark Passenger” but he calls “The Imposter,” uses a reflective hoodie to hide his identity and saws off his victims' heads with metal wire.

Since “The Imposter” fits Harry’s code to a tee, and Dexter is personally annoyed that he stole his name, odds are that Dexter will try to take out The Imposter inDexter: Resurrectionepisode 3.

Since"The Imposter" fits Harry’s code to a tee, and Dexter is personally annoyed that he stole his name, odds are that Dexter will try to take out The Imposter inDexter: Resurrectionepisode 3. That said, “The Imposter” receives an invitation from Uma Thurman’s Charley, which could be Dexter’s link to the secret society of killers shown in the trailer.
