Date Confirmed For Diablo 4 Crossover With Berzerk
This article has been updated to reflect the start date of theDiablo 4crossover event withBerserk.
Diablo 4is nearing its second anniversary, and its eighth in-game season will see a new development for the ARPG, its first crossover event. The latest in Blizzard’s classic series has so far been self-contained, butDiablo 4’s 2025 roadmaprevealed the game would be branching out, and now it’s been announced that the first collaboration is with an equally iconic anime and manga.

As revealed by theDiabloTwitter account (viaVG247),Diablo 4’s first-ever crossover event will be withBerserk, the influential manga series created by Kentaro Miura, which has seen multiple anime adaptations. The teaser video does not reveal much information, butit will run from May 6 until the end of Season 8. There’s no word yet on what kind of content theDialboxBerserkcrossover is bringing to the game.
What To Expect From The Diablo-Berserk Crossover
Cosmetics Are The Most Likely
Since this isDiablo 4’s first collab, it’s tough to predict what exactly it will entail. The roadmap offers no details, nor does the teaser trailer. At the bare minimum, you can expect someBerserk-inspired cosmetics to come toDiablo 4, likely paying homage to its famed characters, Guts and Griffith.Berserk’s setting is dark fantasy, and inspired by medieval Europe, so it should fit right in withDiablo’s aesthetic.
Per the teaser being posted toDiablo Immortal’s YouTube channel, the crossover seems to be with the franchise as a whole, soBerserkcontent is likely coming to the mobile game as well.

A more optimistic possibility is theDiabloxBerserkcollab resulting in a swath of new content.New quests, dungeons, and bosses could all be inspired byBerserk, and these could conceivably be accompanied by an event pass so players have visible progression milestones to work through. With the crossover’s uncertain release date, it’s difficult to know when new information will be made available.
Diablo Is Now Doing Crossovers Like Overwatch
Blizzard See, Blizzard Do
Blizzard is no stranger to anime crossovers, asOverwatch 2’s first big collab was withOne Punch Man. It was followed by the likes of aMy Hero Academiacrossover,Cowboy Bebopskins, a collab with K-pop band LE SSERAFIM, aTransformersevent, and even cosmetics fromDiabloitself. The frequent and wide-rangingcrossovers forOverwatchappear to be aiding a game that is arguably strugglingin the wake ofMarvel Rivalsstealing its players.
Diablo 4is facing similar competition from the fledglingPath of Exile 2, which is currently in early access. A collab withBerserkmight just be the thing to renew interest in a game that is approaching the two-year mark. Regular new seasonal content and expansions have kept players coming back, but Blizzard is likely hoping to keepDiablo 4’s success going for much longer, and popular manga/anime collabs like this one withBerserkmight just end up being a hit.
