In the delightful life simulation gameDisney Dreamlight Valley, players can now earn achievements on all supported platforms with the recent addition of Steam achievements. These achievements are separate from the in-game Dreamlight Duties and do not provide any in-game rewards.
However, each achievement is associated with a corresponding in-game Dreamlight Duties milestone. This means thatthere is an in-game task for each achievementthat players can track and complete within the game’s Dreamlight Duties menu.

How to Earn Achievements in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Players on Xbox, Microsoft Store, Playstation, Steam, or Epic Games Store versions ofDisney Dreamlight Valleyhave the opportunity to earn achievements. However, please note that the Nintendo Switch does not offer an achievement system, meaning there are no achievements available for this game on that platform.
It’s important to reiterate that earning achievements in Dreamlight Valleywill not grant any in-game rewards. Instead, they act as a way to complete tasks and accumulate Gamerscore on Xbox/Windows versions or Trophies on Playstation 4 or Playstation 5. These metrics contribute to the overall sense of accomplishment and completion of the game, highlighting the various challenges players have overcome.

Disney Dreamlight Valleyoffers a total of15 achievementsfor players to earn. These achievements are tied to the gradual progression through in-game activities, so it may take some time to unlock them.
An additional achievement, “Dreamlight Master,” is available to Playstation players, which awards the Platinum Trophy upon 100% completion of all achievements.

At this time, it is possible to earn all currently available achievements, with theRenovatorachievement having been changed from30 houses to 12 houses, though this change may not have been updated in the achievement criteria.
Each achievement is associated with a specific Dreamlight Task. The game automatically checks the player’s completed tasks withinDisney Dreamlight Valley, and any related achievements will be awarded retroactively.

It’s worth noting that the achievement tracker may not show progress for some yet to be earned achievements. However, players can check their progress toward meeting the goals of each achievement by reviewing the corresponding Dreamlight Task in the game.
For example, there is a Dreamlight Task that rewards 500 Dreamlight for catching 1800 fish. Completing this task by catching 1800 fish will also unlock the Angler achievement, even if the achievement tracker displays 0/1800 until the requirement is met.
Therefore, players should not worry that their previous progress won’t count toward earning achievements, nor should they be concerned about not receiving credit for their hard work. They simply need to focus on reaching the goal of each achievement and can monitor their progress within the different Dreamlight Task menu categories while playing in Dreamlight Valley.
