Disney Dreamlight Valleyhas officially introduced its first Dream Bundle, and fans are not happy with the price. Right now,Disney Dreamlight Valleyis still in early access, which means only gamers that have pre-ordered the game by acquiring a Founder’s Edition or those with Xbox Game Pass have access to it before its full launch. OnceDisney Dreamlight Valleyis fully released, it’ll become free-to-play, allowing everyone to try it out completely free of charge. Then, like most live-service games, it’ll mostly focus on microtransactions through the sale of Moonstones, its in-game currency.
Back when Moonstones first went on sale, there was an uproar from the community over theoutrageous prices ofDisney Dreamlight Valley’s in-game currency. Even though Moonstones are only required to purchase cosmetic packs and to unlock access to the Star Path events, many fans were outraged nonetheless and even spoke about boycotting this aspect of the game by not purchasing any Moonstones at all. Unfortunately, this was not enough to make Gameloft lower Moonstone prices, and it actually raised them over time.

Thefifth major content update forDisney Dreamlight Valley, known as The Remembering Update, has now been released. The official blog post introducing the update revealed that a new type of pack would be added to the game. The Remembering update includes the Dapper Wall-E Dream Bundle, which is the first Dream Bundle available inDisney Dreamlight Valley.
The Dapper Wall-E Dream Bundle includes a new Dream Style for the Wall-E character, two outfits, some accessories, as well as a special bonus quest. Even though the items and the quest are a fun addition to the game, many players won’t be purchasing them due to their price tag of 4,000 Mooonstones, which corresponds to about $15. Certain fans of the game already believed that theaddition of microtransactions toDisney Dreamlight Valleybefore it even went free-to-play was a bad move, and this only adds to their disappointment.
So far, very little information has been disclosed regarding this new type of purchasable content. At the moment, players can’t be sure how long they’ll have to decide whether they’d like to buy the Dream Bundle before it’s gone. It could refresh once the Premium Shop refreshes; since this pack has more content than the standard cosmetic items in the Premium Shop, it is likely that it will stick around until the end of theWonder of Pixar Star Pathon August 7.
Disney Dreamlight Valleyis available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
