Our Take: Star Wars In DDV Opens Possibilities For Other Disney Franchises
Star Wars, Marvel, and Avatar Would Fit Right In With Other DDV Realms
IntroducingStar WarstoDreamlight Valleyopens up a world of possibilities. While enjoying success standing on Disney’s animated work,Dreamlight Valleywould certainly get a boost in popularity if Disney’s other franchises were included in gameplay. The introduction ofStar Wars, even through a simple shop update, demonstrates that Disney and Gameloft are ready to experiment with adding these universally loved properties toDreamlight Valley.
Since Disney owns a good portion of the world’s most lucrative franchises, including Marvel Comics and James Cameron’sAvatar, it’s entirely possible that fans will see content surrounding these worlds introduced toDreamlight Valley— even solely through cosmetics. If theStar Warspremium shop content goes over well withDDVplayers, it will signal Disney that people are ready to see more live-action content included in the game.Star Wars,Marvel, andAvatarall introduce amazing opportunities forDisney Dreamlight Valleyrealms and Star Paths, and it’s likely only a matter of time before players see these franchises included in future content updates.
