Lauma, Flins, & Aino Are The First Nod-Krai Units
Ahead of the patch’s release, HoYoverse has confirmed that three new characters will be released with Version 6.0. Announced via a sequence of drip marketing posts onGenshin Impact’s official account on X and other social media platforms,Lauma, Flins, and Aino will make their debuts in the upcoming patchfor the action RPG.
All three of these new Nod-Krai characters had been teased before, but now the developer has confirmed that they will be the first units from the region to be released in Version 6.0. For reference,Ineffa, who is technically from Nod-Krai, made her debut in Version 5.8. Even so, her release was tied to Natlan.

Lauma Will Likely Debut First
Now, there may be a clearer view of the banner structure in Version 6.0 will occur. According to the order in which the new characters were shared by HoYoverse, it’s expected thatLauma will be the featured 5-star character in Version 6.0’s Phase 1 banners. As seen inLauma’s leaked gameplay kit inGenshin Impact, she will be a Dendro catalyst user who works as a main DPS.
According to the leaks, she scales off of Elemental Mastery, which means her main focus is dealing damage through Elemental Reactions. Moreover, the leaks also say thatshe will bring forth a new reaction variant called Lunar Bloom, which is triggered just like Bloom, but has the potential to land CRIT hits on enemies.
Lunar reaction variants have already been introduced with Ineffa, who triggers Lunar-Charged, a variant for Electro-Charged.
The second new character who was announced is Aino, leaked as a 4-star Hydro claymore unit – the first to carry this type of elemental weapon combination. According to the leaks aboutAino’s kit inGenshin Impact6.0,she will be a Hydro sub-DPS who will work somewhat like Xingqiu and Yelan, but will play into the rumored Moonsign mechanics.
As seen in information provided by the leaker known as HomDGCat, who has a reputation for being reliable, the Version 6.0 banner characters have been leaked. According to the leak that was shared by user SpindleFlames onReddit,Yelan and Nahida are set to be the rerun characters in the patch, and it would make perfect sense for either of them to rerun in Phase 1 banners.
Because the rumored Dendro DPS Lauma is said to be a specialist in Bloom reactions – or Lunar-Bloom, according to the leaks –it would be reasonable for a Hydro sub-DPS like Yelan to rerun alongside her. In the same team comp, Lunar-Bloom would constantly be triggered.
Yelan may not rerun in Phase 1, as it’s expected that Aino will be given to players for free; Aino’s release would conflict with the Hydro sub-DPS’s rerun.
Meanwhile, Lauma could synergize well with Nahida, too. Even though they can’t trigger Lunar-Bloom together, Nahida’s presence as a sub-DPS and support for Lauma could help trigger Lunar-Bloom reactions, too, as there would be even more Dendro application. Furthermore, they would activate Dendro Resonance, which would increase the team’s Elemental Mastery stat, increasing both their performances. Overall,it feels more likely Nahida will rerun inGenshin Impact6.0’s Phase 1 banners.

Yelan May Rerun Alongside Flins’ Debut
As the second Nod-Krai 5-star character to be announced for Version 6.0, Flins will likely make his debut in Phase 2 banners. His rarity hasn’t been confirmed by HoYoverse, but has been mentioned in the leak.According to Flins’ leaked kit, he is an Electro polearm userwho operates as a main DPS in team comps.
Like Ineffa from Version 5.8,Flins enables the team to trigger Lunar-Charged reactions, which have a chance to land CRIT hits. As seen in his leak kit, Flins will specialize in being the conduit who triggers Lunar-Charged reactions with the help of off-field Hydro characters who will apply the element on enemies. Both Lauma’s and Flins’ elemental specialties may bring anend to Physical DMG inGenshin Impact.
I believe that Yelan will rerun alongside Flins, as her kit makes more sense to the new Nod-Krai character than Nahida. Surely, Flins and Nahida could trigger Aggravate, but it wouldn’t synergize with Flins’ Lunar-Charged specialty, which can easily be triggered with the help of Yelan.
As such,it’s likely that Lauma and Nahida will run in Version 6.0’s Phase 1 banners, while Flins and Yelan run in the Phase 2 banners. The leak also says that the 4-star units Aino, Kaveh, Kuki Shinobu, Dori, and Sucrose will have increased drop rates during the patch, though it’s uncertain how they will be distributed among theGenshin Impact6.0 banners.
