EVE (Essential Visual Enhancements)is an incredible mod for improving graphics inFNVbecause of how extensive it is. It’s a properoverhaul of the game’s original SFX– including new decal textures and 3D impacts, new special effects for just about every special effect in the game, updates to the original mesh for a smoother world, more gorey critical hit sequences, and so much more.
The Essential Visual Enhancements mod went by a different name, but the same acronym, for itsFallout 3version. BeforeNew Vegas, EVE stood for Energy Visual Enhancements, and the mod only applied to Energy Weapons. But now, this mod affects a huge swathe ofNew Vegastextures and effects, and is worth downloading to modernize the game’s somewhat dated SFX.

One of the main problems that modern games experience whengoing back toFallout New Vegasis how rough the game looks nowadays. Though it was quite impressive back in the Xbox 360/PlayStation 3 days,New Vegasis really starting to show its age – almost nowhere more so than the distant LOD textures.
With theImproved LOD Noise Texture mod, the distant environments you will see while exploring the Wasteland will be made HD, making them far less distracting. It fits in great with other texture mods, and barely has any impact on how the game runs.
It’s worth picking this one up just to save your eyes some strain and turn the game’s originally jarring distant textures into something that won’t stand out as much.

A Weather & Graphics Overhaul With Fantastic HD Skyboxes
Though technically not a texture mod at heart,the Nevada Skies modis a major overhaul of the game’s lighting, weather, and other special effects – and it comes with a huge selection of unique skyboxes.
With the click of a button in the mod configuration menu, you can modify the world’s weather, the lighting and filters affecting the visuals, and even load up beautiful ultra-HD skies that perfectlycomplement the Mojave’s desert environment.
Though Nevada Skies has quite a few prerequisite mods that players have to install to make the mod work correctly, the difference is night and day compared to the original game. One couldn’t be faulted for turning off the UI just to appreciate how impressive some of these new skyboxes are for a few minutes.
1Wasteland Flora & Terrain Overhaul

The flora and natural objects that dot the landscape of the Mojave Wasteland are sparse and very noticeably starting to age. There isn’t much flora to begin with, and the plants that players can find in the Wasteland tend to beamong the game’s worst offendersin need of a modern overhaul
