The full release ofFatal Fury: City of the Wolveshides multiple secret bosses for you to find, including Fallen Rock, a twisted version of Rock Howard. This Rock has been corrupted by his boiling blood and the Jin scrolls, transforming him into a version of his father, Geese. With Geese’s strength and Rock’s speed, this boss is tough to find and even harder to beat.
SNK games are no strangers to challenging bosses, as anyone who’s fought Omega Rugal inarcadeKing of Fightersgamescan tell you. While Fallen Rock may not be as impossibly difficult to defeat as previous SNK bosses, he still presents a tough fight compared to some characters. You may need totake some time to learn the game’s systemsto have the best skills possible to defeat Fallen Rock.

Where To Find Fallen Rock
Play Through Arcade Mode Or Episodes Of Southtown
There are two places where you may find Fallen Rock as a boss, including:
Episodes of South Town is a single-player RPG modewhere you earn XP for a character while exploring various areas of the infamous City of the Wolves. Throughout this mode, you challenge different fighters under various conditions, aiming to reach exploration progress in sections of the city. Every so often, the last challenge of an area will present a boss, usually with some different mechanics than you may be used to.

The Episodes of South Town mode ofFatal Fury: City of the Wolvesis similar toStreet Fighter 6’s World Tour mode, acting as single-player content where you level up by defeating rival fighters.
Fallen Rock and a resurrected version of his father, Nightmare Geese, are both secret bosses you can fight in areas of South Town.Fallen Rock shows up as a Level 80 boss in the East Island areaof Episodes of South Town, acting as one of the strongest opponents you can face.

On the other hand, Fallen Rock is also a boss you might face at the end of a character’s Arcade mode.Fallen Rock is the final boss in some characters' stories, but not everyone’s. You have to play one of these characters to encounter Fallen Rock as your last challenge:
Other characters will face other opponents as their last rivalat the end of Arcade mode, meaning that Episodes of South Town is the only guaranteed way of fighting the boss. For example, B. Jenet’s Arcade mode run ends with her fighting Kain, not Fallen Rock or Nightmare Geese.

How To Beat Fallen Rock
Prepare For Varying Difficulty Based On The Mode
Fallen Rock has varying degrees of difficulty depending on which mode you encounter him in.Episodes of South Town feature a much stronger version of Fallen Rockthan Arcade mode, encouraging you to be at least Level 90 with your character before facing him.
Fallen Rock is notably different in the Episodes of South Town mode becausehis entire health bar is in S.P.G.This gives Fallen Rock access to special moves, including a Hidden Gear technique, throughout entire rounds rather than temporarily at certain levels of vitality.

No matter where you face Fallen Rock, the characterhas a very similar moveset to Geese Howard from previous games. Some moves are taken fromFatal FuryorThe King of Fightersgames, including Geese’s much larger Reppu Ken projectile. Fallen Rock has parries to counter your physical attacks, aerial projectiles, a command grab, and even a move where he physically pulls your character closer to him.
Fallen Rock does not have a complete moveset, so his combo potential is limited. This gives you more opportunities to find openings, as the secret boss tends not to block as often as a human opponent would. Whether you’re playing as Terry orRonaldo inFatal Fury: CotW, one of the best strategies against Fallen Rock is to jump at him, as the boss does not have many ways of anti-airing an approach from above.

Most of Fallen Rock’s moves are palm strikes, flying kicks, or a dash that moves him out of sight to gain distance on your character.Keep Fallen Rock far awayto nullify most of his moves, or lure him in and block his assault to create a chance to strike back. Even though Fallen Rock’s Reppu Ken is deadly, it is something you can react to if you have the distance to leap above it.
Eventually, you’ll be able to take down Fallen Rock through trial, error, and a bit of luck. Doing this will give you tons of XP for your character in Episodes of South Town, but those who beat Fallen Rock in Arcade mode ofFatal Fury: City of the Wolvescan conclude some characters' stories, ending tales that have lasted for over 25 years.
