Atlas Creative have been hard at work trying torecreate the originalFortniteBattle Royale map, and they have now released the beta version so that players can start testing it and reporting bugs that they might come across. At the moment, players may experience some technical difficulties, but the team plans to continue to work until, and they claim that they won’t stop improving it until they’re “finally home.”

Differences Compared To The Original Chapter 1 Map
The Atlas OG Battle Royale map is still a work in progress which means that players will most likely encounter bugs and issues with some of its assets. The initial plan was to create an island of the same scale, but, unfortunately, the creative tool’s memory was insufficient to allow this, so it is slightly smaller.
Gameplay features and weapons had to be removed, so the loot may feel more scarce and limited, and certain chests might not be in the same locations as before. Certain environment and decorative items were also removed, making it feel emptier. Epic Games has mentioned that it plans to improve the new creative feature to be on the same level as Unreal Engine. So, hopefully, this way, the creators will be able to take their map to the next level and make it identical.
