While the community remains skeptical about Xianyun ahead of her debut, Gaming is already expected to become one of thebestGenshin Impact4-Star characters, continuing the new standard set by Chevreuse in Version 4.3.
WhereasChevreuse inGenshin Impactis tailor-made for the oft-neglected Overload teams, Gaming is a lion dancer wielding a Claymore, and is set to be an on-field DPS character that works with Vaporize or Burgeon, while also greatly benefiting from Xianyun’s boost to Plunging Attacks. ThoughGenshin Impactplayers will be able to select a copy of Gaming for free during the Lantern Rite, getting a few of his constellations wouldn’t hurt either.
To that end, areliable source from theGenshin ImpactLeaks communityhas assembled an estimated Primogem and Wish count for Version 4.4. It was shared on the subreddit by stainNecrolyte, and as fans have come to expect from a Lantern Rite patch inGenshin Impact, the amount that can be obtained is generous – though arguably at the cost of a “drier” update in Version 4.3.

With a grand total of 124 pulls,Genshin Impactplayers who purchase both the Welkin Moon and the Battle Pass ($15 total) should have a decent amount of wishes to work with. Though only 180 pulls can truly guarantee a Limited 5-Star on the Event Banner, Version 4.4 will give fans more than enough funds for theupcomingGenshin Impactcharacters in Version 4.5.
That being said, the community hasn’t been thrilled with the lack of hard pity on specific 4-Star banner characters. WhileGenshin Impactcan guarantee a way for players to obtain any limited 5-Star, no such mechanism exists for Chevreuse, Faruzan, Sucrose, or any other 4-Star that isn’t featured in the Starglitter Shop rotation. Given that manyquality-of-life features were added toGenshin Impactin recent updates, fans are hoping that HoYoverse will introduce similar guarantees for the game’s 4-Star characters in the near future.
