Genshin Impacthas revealed the second phase of its Event Banners for Version 4.7, and the lineup may not be as enticing as players were hoping for. It has been 394 days since Kaveh was last seen on the Event Banners inGenshin Impact, and at this point, his best odds of rerunning are in Version 4.8 alongside Nilou. Since then, Baizhu has seen two reruns, and new 4-Star characters such as Gaming will also reappear on the Event Banners.
While Kaveh may not be a particularly strong4-Star character inGenshin Impact, the current scheduling of certain 4-Stars has created noticeable resentment in theGenshin Impactcommunity. Chevreuse, a 4-Star healer introduced in Version 4.3 who enables Overload, has neither accompanied Arlecchino nor Clorinde – two characters that are designed with Overload in mind. Her absence continues in Version 4.7, as Noelle will have her third rerun in the Fontaine era instead.
The second phase of Version 4.7 was unveiled by HoYoverse on Twitter, revealing that Furina and Sigewinne will be accompanied by Noelle, Rosaria, and Gaming. The bright spot on the Event Banner is undeniably Noelle, as newGenshin Impactaccounts will appreciate thesynergy Noelle has with Furina. Furthermore, Gaming is a potent 4-Star character introduced in Version 4.4, and players will be able to obtain more of his Constellations in the upcoming Event Banner.
Genshin Impact Version 4.7 Second Phase Banner Characters
WhereasFurina inGenshin Impactneeds no introduction, Sigewinne is the new character making her playable debut in Version 4.7. It should be noted that Sigewinne introduced herself to the Traveler as the head nurse of the Fortress of Meropide, so players are already somewhat familiar with her character. However, much like Arlecchino and Clorinde, Sigewinne’s gameplay revolves around the Bond of Life mechanic. She is comparable to Kokomi, in that both characters are 5-Star Hydro healers, but Kokomi is more highly valued by the community due to the ease with which she applies Hydro to enemies.
The signature weapon for Sigewinne is extremely niche, and those who want to obtain Furina’s weapon should carefully consider their options. Given that the Event Banners haven’t been kind to certain characters and the newChronicled Banner from Version 4.5 was poorly received, manyGenshin Impactplayers are hoping that HoYoverse considers triple banners as a solution once again.
