As DPS units, both Ayaka and Navia lean more into the main DPS role, especially since both can easily infuse their weapons with their respective Elements. Once players start building a team that includes Ayaka or Navia, the rest of the squad usually consists of characters who are more Supportive. This includes units that buff Ayaka and Navia, debuff enemies, or simply heal/shield them. As for their gameplay and time on the field,Ayaka relies more on her Elemental Burstand Charged attacks, whileNavia typically uses her Normal attacks before unleashing devastating blows from her two Elemental Skills, which means both units’ time on the field is very close.
Build
To deal the best damage with Navia and Ayaka, you must build them with ATK and Crit. Surprisingly, even with Ayaka having one of thehighest Base ATK inGenshin Impact, Navia still has more, with both getting Crit DMG from their Ascension stat bonus.
Navia’s Claymore, Verdict, grants her Crit Rate, up to 36% Geo DMG, and 20% ATK, while Ayaka’s Sword, Mistsplitter Reforged, increases her Crit DMG and Cryo DMG by up to 40%. However, as for other weapons, it’s hard to build Ayaka and Navia with weapons that don’t give Crit value because of how much damage they would lose if their weapons had anything else. The best F2P option for Ayaka is the forgeable weapon,Amenoma Kageuchi, while Navia works withUltimate Overlord’s Mega Magic Sword, which means both characters have a reliable F2P weapon.
As for artifacts, the two DPSs are also similar, since their teams are responsible for making the most of what their sets can offer.Navia performs best with 4pc of Nighttime Whispers in the Echoing WoodsandAyaka with 4pc of Blizzard Strayer. For Navia to be able to trigger Nighttime Whispers in the Echoing Woods, her team must provide enough Elemental applications to create as many Crystallized shields as possible. As for Ayaka, Blizzard Strayer onlygives her the desired 40% Crit Rateif she hits a frozen enemy, which forces her into playing only in Freeze teams when having this set.
Team
When searching for the best characters to pair with Ayaka andNavia inGenshin Impact, players should consider their Elements. For Geo enablers, it’s best to addZhongliorAlbedoto Navia teams, since Zhongli further debuffs enemies’ resistance to Geo, while Albedo is a strong off-field DPS and Geo enabler.
