SomeGrand Theft Auto 6fans have spotted a small detail in a popular music video that may point towards a large presence of a huge real-life rapper in the game. One of the biggest parts of anyGTAgame is its soundtrack, and developer Rockstar Games often incorporates real-life events, music, art, and more into its latest game. Earlier, it was reported that superstarDrake might have his own radio stationin the game, and now, it looks like another big star will have a presence inGTA 6.

In a music video for the song"2000 EXCURSION"byTravis Scott,aGTA 6Easter egg has been found, which may point at Travis Scott’s music playing a big role in the game. At the 3:56 time mark in the video, a license plate that reads “GTA6 VI6” can be seen (viaVideoGamer). This isn’t a direct confirmation about Scott or his music in the game, but given how big of an artist Scott is, and theGTAseries' big focus on its soundtracks, this could be a tease for numerous parts ofGTA 6.

What We Know About GTA 6’s Soundtrack So Far

An Emphasis On The 80s And Nostalgic Feelings

We don’t have a ton of information about the complete soundtrack ofGTA 6, but the confirmed tracks, based on what has been shown in the two trailers thus far, seem to point ata focus on the 80sand nostalgic feelings. The song used for the second trailer was"Hot Together"by The Pointer Sisters, which saw ahuge increase in plays on Spotifyafter it appeared in the trailer. Other confirmed tracks so far include"Love Is A Long Road"by Tom Petty,“Everybody Have Fun Tonight"by Wang Chung, and"I Love Rock ‘n’ Roll"by Joan Jett.

There are also several rumors aboutsome modern artistsbeing featured in the highly-anticipated title. DJ Khaled and Kendrick Lamar have been rumored to be getting their own radio stations in the game, in addition to Drake. The previousGTA 5Enhanced Edition added in even more songs to thegame’s iconic soundtrack, so it seems plausible thatGTA 6will get additional tracks post-launch as well.

Travis Scott Could Be A Good Fit For GTA 6

He’s In Quite A Few Entertainment Industries

Scott has hadcollaborations with video gamesin the past, so it wouldn’t be much of a stretch at all to see him inGTA 6, even if it’s just his music. Back in 2020,Scott’s virtualFortniteconcertreportedly had over 12 million players in attendance. Recently, Scott made his professional wrestling debut with the WWE, and combined with his already-established music career, previous collaborations, and even a few film appearances, Scott is virtually everywhere; it wouldn’t be surprising to see him inGTA 6.

WithGTA 6seemingly drawing inspiration fromreal-life modern settingsand events, as well as featuring several 80s songs, it appears thatGTA 6might have the most varied soundtrack for the series yet, creating a nice mix of modern and classic tracks. That approach will likely satisfy fans, and it’s possible Scott may play an even bigger role inGrand Theft Auto 6if this Easter egg is a hint at his presence in the game.
