While there are dozens of past versions of heroes andvillains featured inJustice League Unlimited#8,Harley Quinn stands out in particular because, simply put, she just looks so damn good. This is partially thanks to being drawn by fan-favorite artist Dan Mora and also because she is wearing her best costume, herRebirthera look.
This design features Harley’s classic red and black color scheme, with her hair dyed to match. The outfit includes a bell-studded choker, a cropped tank, shorts, and matching roller derby gear. A quick visit to any discussion thread shows that this is nearly unanimously agreed to be the Siren’s best look.

It was beyond criminal when DC overhauled this designafter moving on from theRebirthera, marking one of the biggest character design missteps in their history by retiring such an iconic look. As the saying goes,“Don’t fix what ain’t broke.”And while this Harley is technically a past version of the Siren, it looks like she is going to be sticking around for the indefinite future.
The closing pages ofJLU#8reveal that the present-day heroes have no way to return Harley or the other displaced characters to their original timelines. As a result, fans will be getting plenty of time to enjoy this awesome costume.
