WhileKingdom Hearts 3launched on July 30, 2025, in Japan, the release date for the rest of the world brought worldwide players back to the series only a few days later on January 29. So, now that players have two years between the release of the game and now, fans are showing their appreciation for the game that had over a decade of hype to live up to.

Some fans have been making their own artwork to celebrate the anniversary, with plenty of others sharing their favorite screenshots from either cutscene or while using the in-game gummi phone. This new round of sharing has been much more positive than some of the original reactions to the game when it launched back in 2019, to what can be best described as mixed reviews. The positivity is likely thanks to players having time to settle their thoughts onKingdom Hearts 3and itsRe:MindDLCwithout having the overexcitement of finally getting the game after thirteen years of waiting.
Now with two years behindKingdom Hearts 3, fans are excited to see what’s next for the series as the story departs beyond the Seeker of Darkness saga and into thenew World of Fiction teased byMelody of Memory. It’s an exciting time for the series, which is now in unclear waters and might even have a few chances to clarify some older mysteries.
