It’s important to note that Galactus usually doesn’t consume planets like a regular person would eat a meal. Instead of ingesting planets through his mouth, Galactus absorbs their energy, destroying them in the process. Galactus also doesn’t need to be larger than a planet in order to consume it. He can drain a planet’s energy while standing on it, regardless of his current size.
