The Masked Singerseason 13’sMad Scientist Monster has now advanced to the Top 5 and will compete in the quarter finals on Soundtrack of My Life Night, and I’m convinced that he could win the competition and take home the Golden Mask Trophy.The Masked Singerseason 13 welcomed back host Nick Cannon, along with panelists Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg, Ken Jeong, and Rita Ora.
DuringThe Masked Singerseason 13, Mad Scientist Monster made it through three rounds of the Group C competition, as well as Lucky 6 Night, to make it to the quarter finals. During that round,he’ll be competing against Group A’s Coral, Group B’s Boogie Woogie and Pearl, and his fellow Group C contestant Nessy. He’s Sung A Variety Of Genres
Mad Scientist Monster is a country singer, but, throughoutThe Masked Singerseason 13 so far, he’s proven himself to be a very versatile performer. He’s sung his own phenomenal versions of “Unwell” by Matchbox Twenty (Carnival Night), “I Swear” by All-4-One (Boy Band Night), “Love Yourself” by Justin Bieber (Decades Night), and “There’s Nothing Holdin' Me Back” by Shawn Mendes (Lucky 6 Night).During “Love Yourself,” he revealed his beautiful falsetto singing. In addition, during the Group C Finals on Decades Night, Mad Scientist Monster sang “My Sharona” by The Knack with his fellow contestants, Yorkie (Erika Jayne), and Nessy (who’s yet to be unmasked).
I think that being able to sing all of these different genres so well proves that Mad Scientist Monster is a superb performer.He’s a country singer at heart, but he’s entertained everyone with all different kinds of music, even dancing during “There’s Nothing Holdin' Me Back.” From ballads to dance songs, Mad Scientist Monster can do it all, and so I believe that he deserves to winThe Masked Singerseason 13.
He Has A Passion For Performing
Every time Mad Scientist Monster takes the stage, it’s clear to me that he’s taking his time onThe Masked Singerseason 13 very seriously. Mad Scientist Monster has poured his heart and soul into every performance. I feel thatit’s obvious that he loves what he does, and he enjoys sharing it with the world. Mad Scientist Monster’s passion for performing should earn him the Golden Mask Trophy because he deserves to be recognized for his efforts onThe Masked Singerseason 13.
He Moved Straight To The Lucky 6
During theMasked Singerseason 13 Group C finals, Mad Scientist Monster didn’t have to compete in the Battle Royale, but instead advanced directly into the Lucky 6 with his performance of Justin Bieber’s “Love Yourself,” which showcased his amazing falsetto. Unlike Yorkie and Nessy, who had to compete in the Battle Royale for the other spot,Mad Scientist Monster earned the most votes from the audience and the panelists, and went straight through. In fact, he’s one of only two Top 5 contestants who achieved this, the other being Pearl. Coral, Boogie Woogie, and Nessy all won the Battle Royale from their groups, but they weren’t the top vote-getters in those rounds.
Mad Scientist Monster has already bested his fellowGroup C competitor Nessyby advancing straight to the Lucky 6. This will surely count for something as Mad Scientist Monster moves forward in the competition becauseit shows that he’s already an audience and panelist favorite, and therefore has a higher chance of being voted through. I think that it also proves that Mad Scientist Monster could win the Golden Mask Trophy because he’s been giving such crowd-pleasing performances.
They Can’t Figure Out Who He Is
Although keeping one’s identity a secret throughout theMasked Singercompetition isn’t a prerequisite for winning, I believe that it makes the final reveal that much more exciting and satisfying.Mad Scientist Monster has been one of the biggest mysteries of the season, as the panelists can’t seem to settle on a solid guess for who he might be. They’ve guessed many different country music legends, but no one seems to be sure. However, in his Lucky 6 clue package, he confirmed that he’s not Keith Urban, who was one of Rita’s guesses.
Other panelist guesses for Mad Scientist Monster’s identity include Luke Bryan and Kenny Chesney (Jenny), Luke Combs and Brad Paisley (Ken), Alan Jackson and Trace Adkins (Robin), Billy Ray Cyrus (Rita), Blake Shelton (Robin and Kenny), and Tim McGraw (Jenny and Rita). However, none of the panelists seem confident about their guesses, which makes it all themore fun to watch Mad Scientist Monster compete. I don’t think that any of these guesses are correct, but that’s just speculation on my part. I feel thatMad Scientist Monster’s ability to keep his identity a secret for so long makes him the perfectMasked Singercontestant, and he should win because of it.
It’s Time For Another Country Artist To Win The Masked Singer
A Country Singer Hasn’t Won The Golden Mask Trophy Since Season 4
The Masked Singerhas only had one country music artist winner in its 12 seasons so far, LeAnn Rimes, who was season 4’s Sun. The winners include rapper T-Pain (Monster), entertainer Wayne Brady (Fox), reality TV star Kandi Burruss (Night Angel), pop star Nick Lachey (Piglet), singer-songwriter Jewel (Queen of Hearts), R&B singer Teyana Taylor (Firefly), actress and singer Amber Riley (Harp), alternative singer Bishop Briggs (Medusa), R&B singer Ne-Yo (Cow), actress and singer Vanessa Hudgens (Goldfish), and R&B group Boyz II Men (Buffalos).
Other country singers havecompeted onThe Masked Singer, but not taken home the Golden Mask Trophy.
