Foundhas been canceled after two seasons. The NBC drama stars Shanola Hampton as Gabi Mosely, a crisis manager who solves missing persons cases with the help of her firm called Mosley & Associates (M&A). Mosely was once abducted as a child by Hugh “Sir” Evans (Mark-Paul Gosselaar), her high school teacher who turns out to be a serial kidnapper. The twist is that in season 1, Gabi holds Sir hostage for retribution and to use him to solve missing persons cases. This would go on to haunt her and the people close to her.
The twisted premise ofFoundis what drew audiences to the show, along with the backstories surrounding Gabi’s M&A team. This includes Margaret (Kelli Williams), whose desperate search for and reunion with her missing son, Jamie (Parker Queenan), is central to season 2. Now thatFoundhas been canceled, spectators are demanding that the NBC dramabe rescued by a streaming service since theFoundseason 2 finaleends on a cliffhanger.Foundis deserving of season 3because there are more stories to be told involving Gabi’s team, more cases to solve, and what happened to Sir.
Fans Want Other Networks To Revive Found
Found Can Be Revived By A Streaming Service Or Another Network
The first season ofFoundaired with strong ratings, the premiere drawing 10.5 million viewers. Ratings dipped in the second season, leading to the NBC show’s cancellation. However, despite this, viewers have been vocal on social media platforms like X, expressing their frustration with NBC for not renewingFoundand pleading for a streaming service like Peacock or Netflix to renew the drama for a third season. Warner Bros. Television, which co-producedFound, is also seeking to salvage the drama by shopping it to other streaming services and networks.
The fact thatWarner Bros. and viewers are adamant about havingFoundbrought back for season 3is a strong sign that there’s at least a chance for the drama to be revived. Other network TV shows have been saved thanks to strong campaigns from fandom. For instance, another NBC show,Manifest, was saved by Netflix for its final season, andS.W.A.T.was revived twice by CBS before ending its run with season 8.

Found Season 2 Ended On A Cliffhanger
The Second Season Left The Door Open For Found Season 3
Foundseason 2 ends with major cliffhangers, with Mosley holding a press conference that was supposed to be for Margaret and Jamie. However,Gabi confesses on camera that she is a kidnapper,in reference to when she held Sir captivein her basement. This final scene leaves the audience anticipating more, but it also appears abrupt. Gabi and her colleagues went a long way to bring themselves closer together after they were upset by Gabi’s crime, making the end of season 2 seem like unnecessary shock value.
There’s also Sir, who is last seen seemingly dead on the ground in his jail cell. There are several questions regarding whether Sir is actually deceased, such as if he tried to take his own life, or if someone else tried to go after him or Gabi. Perhaps his half-sister, Heather (Danielle Savre), attempted to kill Sir after she failed to destroy Gabi. Sir is also always focused on Gabi more than his own sister, which could’ve caused Heather to violently attack her brother after Gabi was arrested.

Found Has Potential For A Great Season 3
The Characters In Found Still Have Plenty Of Stories To Tell
IfFoundis fortunately resurrected for season 3on network TV or a streaming service, there’s plenty of material for the show to expand on. The dilemma between Mosley, Sir, and Heather would surely continue. There’s also the bond between Mosley’s “sister” Lacey Quinn (Gabrielle Walsh) and tech expert Zeke (Arlen Escarpeta) Wallace. Lacey and Zeke slowly develop a romantic relationship in season 2, but Zeke’s agoraphobia causes conflict between them. The season 2 finale shows positive signs as Lacey and Zeke agree to watch Gabi’s press conference together.
