Todd and his wife Julie were incarcerated for bank fraud and tax evasion at the time of Savannah’sMasked Singerappearance, serving a combined 19 years in prison. However, President Donald Trump pardoned them in May, and they’re now home in Nashville.

Although Todd didn’t watch Savannah sing on the show, he appreciated the sentiment behind her appearance. He said,“I guess the beautiful part of that is she went and did that, andshe didn’t care how bad she was.”

Savannah was eliminated fromThe Masked SingerduringThe Wizard of OzNight after her performance of “The Lion Sleeps Tonight” by The Tokens. It was obvious that she knew that she couldn’t sing because she laughed during a lot of her off-key performance. However,Savannah was very entertaining and had the panelists up and dancing along with her.

Later in the episode, Savannah had to go head-to-head in the Smackdown with eventual runner-up Scott Porter as Gumball, singing “Ding Dong! The Witch is Dead” from the film. It was obvious that Scott was a much better singer than Savannah, butshe still tried her best.
