Boschstar Titus Welliver and author Michael Connelly bid farewell to the TV series after 10 years in a video honoring their time making the show. The original series began in 2014 on Prime Video, ending with season 6 before continuing in the 2022 spinoff series,Bosch: Legacy. However,Bosch: Legacyseason 3marked the end of the long-running police procedural series based on Connelly’sHarry Boschbook series. The newest season ended on June 14, 2025 with the show’s final two episodes, which brought the series to a climactic conclusion.
Now, the officialBoschInstagram account has posted a video featuringWelliver and Connelly bidding farewell to the TV show after over 10 years of working on it. The pair pay homage to all the work that’s gone into making the show as big a long-running success as it’s been. Connelly, in particular, mentions the social media love for the show, and the devastation that it ended with season 3. Even so, the video is a positive reflection of the series' history. The Series Is Clearly Important To Both Of Them
Given the passionate goodbye both Welliver and Connelly offered toBosch, it’s clear both series starring the titular detective were important to them. However, withBallardcoming out soon, it’s not going to be goodbye forever for the series' universe, even if the adventures are going to be focused on Q’s character instead. Still, it goes to show how honored the original series will continue to be, even as the franchise steps onto a new path.
