The Xbox Games Showcase 2025 atSummer Game Festrevealed a release date forIndiana Jones and the Great Circle’sThe Order Of GiantsDLC.The Great Circlelaunched to critical acclaim in December 2024 on Xbox and PC before expanding to PS5 in April. WhileThe Order of Giantswas announced before launch as a season pass perk for buying the upgraded edition of the game, details on the expansion have been minimal until now.

A new Xbox Games Showcase trailer ended with aSeptember 4, 2025 release date forThe Order Of Giants. This time, the expansion will hit all platforms on the same date, including PS5. It will also be available through Xbox Cloud Gaming. The trailer highlights a return to the game’s Rome area to venture deeper beneath the earth and into a lost city of Antioch.

The Order Of Giants Introduces A New Cult

Fresh Potential Foes For Indy To Face

WhileIndiana Jones and the Great Circlefeatured a very complete adventure, it did hint at some dangling threads, one being the involvement of the giant Nephilim in the game. The new trailer teases a historical cult associated with these Biblical figures, withTroy Baker in the role of Indiana Jonesintoning “they worshiped the giants” over images of unearthed chambers beneath Rome.

The trailer teases the order with a threatening shot of masked figures, but exactly how Indy’s run-in with this cult will play out remains to be seen. At any rate, the dungeon-crawling and Biblical themes are classicIndiana Jonesmaterial, as is Indy’s quest to find a “secret relic” and return it to the Holy See.

The Order Of Giants Could Be Another Classic Adventure

Indiana Jones & The Great Circle Set A Great Precedent

For me,Indiana Jones and the Great Circleprovided a rare instance of finishing a huge AAA adventure and immediately being ready for more, so I’ve been eagerlyanticipatingThe Order of Giantssince. While the teaser trailer is more focused on images than gameplay,it certainly looks like moreGreat Circle, and that should be more than enough for me.

I would have loved to get a shadow drop of the DLC at the Xbox Games Showcase, but a September 4 release date is a lot better than nothing. Hopefully, MachineGames is also in the early stages of cooking up a sequel toIndiana Jones and the Great Circle, although a return toWolfensteinalso wouldn’t be anything to complain about.
