Since Harry isn’t familiar with many aspects of the wizarding world, it’s initially assumed that Sirius might have been transported somewhere physical where he can be rescued.
However,no one knows where the veil leads, as there’s no answer for what comes after death,even for wizards. Though this is frustrating, it’s a frustration that’s part of all life, and not something that the characters in the books can avoid. Knowing where the veil leads isn’t really a question that can be answered by anyone. ThoughThe Order of the Phoenixdid make some mistakes with Sirius, it’s accurate to the book that Sirius essentially vanishes, as this represents the sudden loss and grief that Harry experiences after his death.

Most fans ofHarry Potterhave been desperate to know more about what happened when James and Lily were in school, as we only get a few glimpses into their dynamic. There has been fanfiction written about this and many theories about all the hijinks they got up to during their tenure at Hogwarts, but nailing down concrete answers would only distract from the new show. The best way to pay tribute to the Marauders and their history would be togive them their own prequel series.

Dumbledore has a good explanation for Harry when they meet inThe Deathly Hallows. He says it doesn’t matter if it was all in Harry’s head. After Voldemort kills Harry for the second time, he’s sent into a limbo between life and death where he sees the Horcrux inside him. In a full circle moment, Dumbledore is there, which is fitting considering the fact that this is the result of his plan and that he’s been Harry’s mentor throughout the story. However,it’s never certain how they met in this strange place.
Dumbledore has been dead for a long time when Harry meets Voldemort in the forest,and it doesn’t really make sense that he would be able to visit Harry in this limbo, but the logic of it doesn’t matter when compared to the emotional impact. There needed to be a moment of explanation and safety before Harry returns to the real world. TheHarry Potter and the Deathly Hallowsepilogue is controversial, but this scene between Harry and Dumbledore is considered one of the best.
1Why Didn’t Fred & George Notice Many Strange Events On The Marauder’s Map?
There are many questions surrounding the twins and their early possession of the Marauder’s Map. It’s a critical piece of the story that connects Harry to his father and gives him an edge in his adventures. However, when Fred and George give it to him, they say they’ve had it for a few years. This begs the question ofwhy they didn’t see Ginny in the Chamber of Secrets or notice the strange comings and goings of QuirrelinThe Sorcerer’s Stone. This is a rather glaring plot hole, but in the larger story, it doesn’t matter very much.
An easy answer might be that the twins were focusing on their own pranks and weren’t concerned with the darkness at work in the castle. Regardless, answering this would be a waste of time for theHarry PotterTV show. There are already many confirmed characters and parts of the plot that the movies leave out that the series must tackle. This won’t leave much time for answering the extraneous questions in every novel, but this doesn’t detract from the audience’s enjoyment.
