Warning! This post contains SPOILERS for Star Wars: Legacy of Vader #6Star Warshas revealedKylo Ren’sthrone, and it’s massively over the top. Between the events ofThe Last JediandRise of Skywalker,Kylo Ren was the First Order’s new Supreme Leader following his murder of Snoke. Now, his year ruling the galaxy is being shown for the first time, including the giant seat he demanded his forces to construct for him.
InLegacy of Vader #6, Kylo Ren leads the First Order into battle, taking over the world of Corellia. In the aftermath, the forces of the First Order all cheer for their Supreme Leader, much to General Hux’s silent rage. However, the most striking element is just how large Kylo Ren’s throne is, the one he’d demanded Hux to construct for him since the newStar Warsseries' first issue.

Kylo Ren’s Supreme Leader Throne Is Ridiculous
Way Bigger Than Palpatine’s, Vader’s, or Snoke’s
Placed upon a large dais, Kylo Ren’s throne is extremely tall, looking to be made of black obsidian, not unlike Darth Vader’s throne in his Mustafar fortress. However, Kylo’s throne is much taller, while also featuring a red-accented section to match the colors of the First Order. Next to Palpatine’s throne on the second Death Star, the Emperor’s seat is comparatively nothing more than a swivel chair.
Likewise, Snoke’s throne was also much smaller next to the new Supreme Leader’s. The only Sith throne that might rival this new seat of power is perhapsthe throne belonging to the resurrected Palpatine on Exegol, with its impressive height and multiple spikes. However, that particular throne was introduced later on inRise of Skywalker.
Regardless, the over-the-top style of Kylo Ren’s throne is quite indicative of his inflated sense of self-importance. It cements just how much the Supreme Leader consistently overcompensates in his desire to be on the dark side, wanting to measure up to Vader’s legacy.
Likewise, General Hux’s speech to the First Order just before the throne reveal is quite poignant as well, better explaining why Hux ends up betraying Kylo Ren inRise of Skywalker. After all, he’d been sharing how every role in the First Order is no more important than the other.Ren then spits in the face of that belief when he ignores Hex’s battle strategies and subsequently has his forces cheering his name, all while sitting above them all on his big ‘ol throne.
