Either way, while this trailer does not show any gameplay, there is plenty out there. Instead, Ubisoft set out to show off an impressive cinematic for its upcoming game, and it absolutely works. It shows the main antagonist ofMario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, Cursa, as well as a number of the Rabbid and Mario enemies players will face, including Goombas and Bob-ombs. The combat is perhaps a little flourishy, but everything from the team jump and Mario shooting in the air and the various weapons and abilities all shown are possible in the game.
Really, where the trailer shined was its showcase of the variouscharacters inMario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope. All the OG characters are back except Yoshi and Rabbid Yoshi, but they are replaced with interesting new characters like the unique character Edge and the face-turn of Bowser. Of course, the latter just wants to reclaim his army from Cursa, but aplayable Bowser is a welcome addition toMario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope.
