Revealed duringKonami’s Press Start live stream,Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eaterwill have anew multiplayer mode called Fox Hunt. The mode has been described as a hide-and-go-seek game, focusing on stealth, with Fox Hunt director Yu Sahara saying:“We’ve used that back-and-forth tension of staying hidden or searching out the enemy to create an online experience unique to Metal Gear.“Metal Gear Onlinewill not be returning. Fox Hound appears to havesome similarities to the multiplayer offerings of some of theAssassin’s Creedgames, with its focus on stealth, blending in, and hunting other players. The mode is a stark contrast to the previous offerings ofMetal Gear Online, which, at times, could feel like a third-person version ofCall of Duty,Battlefield, or a more traditional FPS multiplayer mode. Players will be able to use camouflage to hide from other players before engaging in combat.
