Sirens Has Already Accumulated Astounding Viewership Numbers

Sirenswas released in late May 2025, andin just one month of recorded data, it became the 8th-most-watched TV show on Netflix this year. Netflix released data reports covering January through June 2025. ConsideringSirensonly had one month to accumulate those numbers, it’s extremely impressive.

Some of the other TV shows ahead of it had several months' worth of data to pull from, including juggernauts likeSquid Gameseason 2 and the surprise phenomenon ofAdolescence.Sirensearned 252,300,000 hours viewed during that time, with a total of 53,300,000 views. While the #8 position for a half-year period still might not sound like the most impressive statistic, it’s worth noting that this is Netflix. Even with several new streaming services creating competition, Netflix is still king, and the #8 show on the original streamer platform is likely still near the top altogether.

It’s Looking Unlikely That Milly Alcock Will Have Another Great TV Show To Follow Up Sirens & HOTD Anytime Soon

Milly Alcock Is About To Be Busy Saving Lives As Supergirl

Although Milly Alcock has solidified herself as a TV all-star in the early years of her career, it might be her last go-around on the small screen for a while. WithSupergirlcoming out in 2026 and no other projects on the way,it looks like movie stardom and other projects related to the DC Universe might consume her next few years.

With the tremendous success of James Gunn’sSuperman, there’s already a ton of hype for Milly Alcock’sSupergirlmovie. It seems much less likely that we’ll see her do anything similar toSirensorHouse of the Dragonon the TV landscape unless it’s related to the DCU or just more minor guest/cameo roles.

She already had acameo appearance onHouse of the Dragonseason 2, and with actors like Isabela Merced and Nathan Fillion set to appear inPeacemakerseason 2,TV cameos from Supergirl could be expected. With how good she was inSirens, though, it’s disappointing that there might not be anything like it for a while.
