The nextPokemon Scarlet and Violet5-star Tera Raid event will bring a terastallized Paradox Pokemon as the main opponent, with Great Tusk featured inPokemon Scarletand Iron Treads inPokemon Violet. This will be one of the few chances that players will get to face Paradox Pokemon inTera Raid events, as they are not featured in them very often.Pokemon Scarlet and Violetwere released over six months ago and, at the time of the launch, thesenewPokemontitles failed to live up to the expectationsof the most demandingPokemonplayers. While these games featured a fully explorable open world, they had several performance issues. However, Game Freak’s constant support is still keeping the community engaged, as the performance improved after some patches, and the Tera Raids are constantly givingPokemonplayers new time-limited challenges to face.RELATED:Pokemon Fan Designs Human Version of YanmaNow, Game Freak has already revealed the Pokemon featured in the nextPokemon Scarlet and VioletTera Raid event: Great Tusk and Iron Treads, which will come in multiple Tera types, according to the official announcement. While the Ground/Fighting-type Great Tusk will be featured only inPokemon Scarlet, its futuristic counterpart, the Ground/Steel-type Iron Treads, will appear solely inPokemon Violet. These two Pokemon are inspired by Donphan, a Gen 2 Ground-type creature that looks like a mammoth. The event is set to happen next weekend, running from May 19 to 21.
At the same time that this 5-star Tera Raid will be happening,Pokemonplayers will also be able to participate in the7-star Chesnaught Tera Raid. Chesnaught is a Grass/Fighting-type Pokemon that was originally introduced in Gen 6. Chesnaught will be a powerful Pokemon with a unique terastallized version that will be available only for a limited period, so it’s worth checking out.
It’s fair to say that Paradox Pokemon is certainly one of the most popular aspects inPokemon Scarlet and Violet, as well as the Tera Raids themselves. So, this event marks a pretty special time, as it’s not especially common for Paradox Pokemon to be featured in these events.
