Nobody 2star Bob Odenkirk teased some sequel ideas for the action-comedy franchise. The action sequelfollows on from the first film, with Hutch Mansell (Odenkirk) working off his debt after destroying a Russian bank, while struggling to juggle family life. Produced on a budget of $25 million,Nobody 2was released on July 24, 2025.
Thefranchise has become a standout in the action genre, thanks to its blend of dark humor, gritty fight scenes, and the unlikely heroics of Odenkirk’s Hutch. TheJohn Wick-esque humor makes it a perfect addition to the genre, as evident byNobody 2’sdebut Rotten Tomatoes score of 81%, leaving many to wonder if there will be more.

Now, in an interview withScreenRant,Nobody’sBob Odenkirk has addressed whether there will be aNobody 3and4. The actor details the reasons why he loves the films, as well as just what could be in store for the Mansell family should there be any more installments in theNobodyfranchise. Check out Odenkirk’s comments below:
I have some notions for Nobody 3 and 4. To me, I love this journey of a family, and the common tensions that you feel, and then letting it become this grandiose vision. It’s this operatic, cinematic explosion, but then you’re also tracking the notion of fathers and sons, and people trying to control their rage but losing it. It’s something that you could follow through different chapters of a family life. But we’ll see!

What This Means For The Nobody Franchise
Nobody’sending set upNobody 2, by allowing Hutch to go free from his interrogation after a mysterious phone call, as well as teasing an adventure with Harry and David carrying guns, presumably across the border. However,Nobody 2didn’t really address either of these plot points in detail, as audiences are still somewhat left in the dark.
There are many potential storylines thatNobody 3and4could explore, and Odenkirk’s enthusiasm for future installments is very promising.Nobody 2doesn’t have a post-credits scenelike its predecessor, so there is no teasing of a third film. However, his comments andNobody 2’scurrent positive reception suggest that there could be future movies to continue the franchise.

Our Take On A Potential Nobody 3 & 4
John Wick-style movies are very popular right now, andwith creator Derek Kolstad penningNobodyandNobody 2’sscreenplays, it makes sense that the franchise is doing so well. WhileNobody 2’sendingdidn’t exactly tease another film, it could still very well be on the cards, as there are plenty of ideas and directions the franchise could go.
Odenkirk’s idea forNobody 3and4to “follow through different chapters of a family life” is certainly an interesting concept. WithJohn Wicknow venturing into spinoffs without Keanu Reeves, there is a gap in the market for Odenkirk’s assassin, and considering the actor is also a producer for both films, we hope theNobodysequels are pursued.
