Lex Luthor’s Superman Ending Makes Waller A Way Bigger Deal
Waller Could Prove To Be A Major DCU Entry
Amanda Waller isone of the most prolific characters from the DCEU, having appeared in several projects and TV shows, and now, she asserts herself as a vital part of the DCU. Played by Viola Davis, whose astonishing talents have made her a staple of both the previous franchise and the reboot, Waller is set to have an even larger role in the DCU.
For instance, theDCU has finally given this character a series of her own,Waller, which is set to follow the character without the hindrance of some other star in the lead role. But, the contents of this show haven’t exactly ignited fans' imaginations, as Waller is not super herself, she just directs other powered-beings into trouble.
But despite Waller’s lack of powers, her influence and her ability to strike fear into those in her care is unrivaled. And she is often seen as a person in power at places like Belle Reve, which means her show could actually shine a spotlight on Luthor after his capture. If this is the case, it would raise the stakes significantly, and directly tie in to the events ofSuperman, makingWallereven more exciting.
