Since August 17, 2025, fans of the world-famousOne-Punch Mananime have been waiting forupdates regarding the third season’s release. When this series first aired, it took the world by storm, presenting a unique and hilarious subversion of the typical tropes in Shōnen anime. As such, viewers have been waiting for any development regarding production.

After many months of waiting to hear from the artists behind the series, two special messages from ONE, the creator of the original web-comic, and Murata, the artist behind the manga, were presented at 2025’s Anime Expo. The artists expressed their gratitude to the fans for still supporting the franchise after all these years.

The Anime Will Likely Continue Adapting the Manga Series

One of the details of ONE’s letter that most intrigued fans was the confirmation of what viewers can expect from the upcoming season 3 of theOne-Punch Mananime. The author explained that the anime would further develop the battle between the S-Class heroes and their enemies, putting an end to the still unresolved Monster Association arc.

This entry, considered by fans asone of the best in the series, will contain some of the best and most exciting battles Saitama and his allies will be a part of. While neither letter talked about the topic, the recently released trailer for season 3 of the anime hinted that the battle between Garou and the titular protagonist would likely also be animated.
