The PlayStation 4 release date comes just after thePanzer Dragoon: RemakePC port, which launched on September 25. Both of these ports were announced earlier this month as developer Megapixel Studio and publisher Forever Entertainment confirmed thatPanzer Dragoon: Remakewould no longer be a Switch exclusive.

While the news of a PlayStation 4 version completes the confirmed “coming soon” versions according to Megapixel Studio, there is still no update on the Xbox One port. In response to the initial tweet announcing the then upcoming ports, the studio confirmed a Xbox One release is planned but is “coming a bit later.”

While thePanzer Dragoon: Remakecontinues its expansion to new consoles, it isn’t the only upcoming project for the franchise. Thenext big title isPanzer Dragoon: Voyage Record, a VR title set to release in early 2021. Instead of opting for a full VR remake, it seems the title will be a “rework” of the three original Sega Saturn games. No VR platforms have been confirmed but there is a good chance PlayStation VR makes the cut so fans can get an early taste with the remake next week.

Panzer Dragoon: Remakeis available now on the Nintendo Switch and PC with a PlayStation 4 version launching on September 28.
