According toPokeBeach, thefirst English Mega Evolution Set will launch for players on September 26th, 2025, with prereleases going live shortly before, on September 13th, 2025. While that is several months away, this delay from the usual Q3 timeline, which is typically August, won’t feel so far away, as this new set will be directly following the massive dual-set release ofBlack Bolt&White Flare, scheduled for July 18th, 2025.
Unfortunately, players are being advised to expect prerelease shortages for this set, so if you’ve got your eye on this one, then you’ll want to keep a close eye on pre-order announcements.
Pokémon TCG’s Mega Evolution Set Will Release On September 26th
This New Set Will Be Based On Japan’s Mega Sets, Launching A Month Earlier
Whilewe still have no official name for this English Mega Evolution Setlaunching on September 26th, we do know that it will be based on Japan’s Mega sets,Mega BraveandMega Symphonia, which are releasing a month earlier, on August 1st, 2025. Although the set list has not been revealed for those sets either, we do know that they will bebased around Mega Lucario and Mega Gardevoir.
At the moment, Mega Lucario and Mega Gardevoir are the only cards we can likely confirm for the English Mega Evolution set as well, but we should expect more reveals in the coming weeks, especially as hype continues to build aroundPokémon Legends Z-A’s release, the upcoming game that is also focused on Mega Evolutions.
