APokemonfan drew their concept of what the Legendary pocket monster Raikou would look like if it was turned into a human. Fans of the RPG series have been imagining new designs for Nintendo’s creatures for some time, coming up with very creative ideas. This has led to interesting newforms forPokemonthat include what the pocket monsters would look like if they were turned into humans.

ThePokemon Raikouwas one of the earliest Legendaries to make an appearance in the series, having been released in the second Generation of the games. It is part of the Legendary beast trio that is said to have died when the Brass Tower burned down and was resurrected by Ho-Oh. Raikou is meant to represent the lightning bolt that struck the tower and started the fire, which explains its Electric-Typing.

A Reddit user named endifi posted an image of their take on a human version of Raikou. This version of theLegendaryPokemonstands tall, wearing armor that matches the design of the pocket monster, including its purple mane that the artist turned into a cape. The human Raikou wields a staff that is designed after the creature’s tail and wears a necklace that resembles its blue muzzle. Endifi did a very good job of transforming thePokemonwhile keeping many of the aspects of its appearance intact.

The human Raikou, which endifi has nicknamed Raikan the Raikou, has gained a few fans. One commenter stated that the design looked as if it was taken from theMonster Hunterseries, while another said they wish there were a video game where the player could wear the armor. It would be interesting to see this form of Raikou in one of the games in thePokemonseries in some capacity, as it is a very unique and impressive take on the pocket monster.

Endifi is currently in the midst of a project that will see the artist createhuman forms forPokemonand is going in the order of the National PokeDex. They are almost finished with the second Generation of the series and will be starting the third very soon. While this is a daunting task, endifi has gotten a great start on the project, releasing amazing art pieces that showcase a lot of talent and dedication.Pokemonfans can look forward to the artist turning their favorite pocket monsters into humans as they continue through the Pokedex.
