What This Means For Squid Game’s Ending
Season 1’s Complexity Provides Some Clues About How Squid Game Will End
Squid Gameseason 1’s endingsees Gi-hun survive the Games, win billions of won, and have a chance to start his life over. But this victory cost the lives of hundreds of people, whom Gi-hun watched die in various gruesome ways, including some close friends. While his daughter moved to America with her mother and stepfather, Gi-hu is keeping in contact and rebuilding their relationship. He also has a final confrontation with Il-nam (O Yeong-su), revealed to be the creator of the Games, and wins a small game of sorts that proves there is some good in humanity.
Gi-hun then forgoes going to see his daughter, vowing to bring down the Games and staying in Korea, leading into season 2. This conclusion does have some notes of triumph, as one battle is over, but it came at a terrible price.Hwang’s comments suggest that we will see this mixed bag of emotions again, where maybe the Games will come to an end,but maybe people will still die, and it won’t entirely fix the system that put them in this situation, setting up another battle for the surviving characters.

Our Take On Hwang Dong-hyuk’s Comments On How Squid Game Will End
Squid Game 3 Will Be Like Nothing We’ve Ever Seen
Squid Game’s final season is going to be a roller coaster, that’s for sure. At this point, thetheory that Gi-hun will become the new Front Manvs. he will stop the Games and save everyone both appear too simple.
Gi-hun is in the middle of a layered ideological war with the current Front Man (Lee Byung-hun) that seems like it must end with Gi-hun being partially corrupted, but there are still moments of compassion and humanity in this series that suggest he has been right all along. We are likely to get a cacophony of some of all these elements come the epic finale ofSquid Game.
