A newStar Wars Jedi: Survivormod lets players utilize all five of Cal Kestis’ distinct lightsaber styles at once. The second chapter of Respawn’s epicStar Warssaga has been out for a few weeks at this point, and fans of the fabled galaxy far, far away have been diving intoStar Wars Jedi: Survivor’s various customizationand gameplay options to craft their own version of Cal and take on the forces of darkness however they see fit.
2019’sStar Wars Jedi: Fallen Orderalready featured different styles of lightsaber combat for Cal to use as he fended off the Empire, andJedi: Survivorhas expanded on this greatly. In addition to the Single and Double-Bladed options carried over from the first game, Cal can now use his Dual Lightsabers as a distinct style with its own range of fast-paced, offense-focused attacks.Cal also gains a handy blasterthat he can wield in tandem with his sword to take foes out from a distance, and he can unleash punishing blows with the Crossguard lightsaber made popular by Kylo Ren in the Sequel Trilogy.

However,Jedi: Survivorplayers are only able to use two lightsaber stances at a time and can only change them out at a Meditation rest point. At least, until modder R457 devised a way for Cal to have all of his stances equipped at once. As reported by PCGamesN, once the Lightsaber Stances Mod is installed, players can scroll through all ofStar Wars Jedi: Survivor’s lightsaber styles with the press of a button. The mod has only been available on Nexus Mods for a few days but has already been downloaded hundreds of times.
WhileStar Wars Jedi: Survivor’s launch was somewhat controversial (namely due to the PC version containing several potentially game-breaking bugs and glitches), publisher EA states that it has exceeded its expectations in terms of sales and critical reception. Many players have already createdcleverJedi: SurvivorPC modsthat address the game’s initial framerate issues, replace the intro, or even allow fans to play as the dreaded Darth Maul in Cal’s place.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor’s lightsaber combat is already fun, but this new mod could help enhance it further by giving players access to all of Cal’s special lightsaber stances without having to swap them out at a checkpoint. Having all five styles on hand would certainly be useful in battlingJedi: Survivor’s punishing bossesor the endless waves of stormtroopers that stand between Cal Kestis and his goal of ensuring a better future for the galaxy.
