Super Mario RPGis not one of thelongest JRPGs out there, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t sections that can trip Mario fans up. One of the early areas thatSuper Mario RPGplayers will go through is called the Sunken Ship, which is part of the Star Hill region, near Seaside Town and Star Hill. In theSunken Ship, players will come across a room that requires a specific password. This guide will give players thepassword to the Sunken Shippuzzle so they can continue on their journey to collect the Star Pieces andhelp Geno repair the Star Road.

The password for the Sunken Ship inSuper Mario RPGis PEARLS. Of course, players can enter the various rooms and complete different challenges throughout the ship to find hidden scrolls that give hints to the answer, but we have it here for you to save a bunch of time.
Once players get to the puzzle room with the six blocks that have the letter ‘J’ on them, they’ll need to jump and hit the blocks until the correct letter is chosen. The blocks are in order from one to six, so the first block will need to be set to the letter ‘P’; the second block should be set to ‘E’; the third block should be set to ‘A’; the fourth block is ‘R’; the fifth one is ‘L’; and last but not least, the sixth one should be set to ‘S.’
After the blocks are hit, go over to the golden tuba pipe and press the A button to input the password. If it’s correct, the locked door will now open up, leadingplayers to a mini-boss battleagainst King Calamari and its dangerous tentacles.
King Calamari has 800 HP and is susceptible to fire-based attacks, so let Mario’s Fireball attacks fly.
